Excursions & Activities
- Go on an overnight trip to Cape Coast to explore the slave castles where transatlantic slavery took place.
- Participate in cultural activities, like learning how to weave traditional clothes.
- Go on daytrips to places like Kwame Nkrumah Mausoleum, the W.E.B. Dubois Center, and the Shai Hills Game Reserve, where you can see baboons, vervet, and spot-nosed monkeys.
Volunteering: Projects like teaching English and math skills to young children and creating activities for children at orphanages throughout Legon and the greater Accra area that'll give you a firsthand look at challenges facing Ghana as a developing nation.
